What we have come to know as the “12 days of Christmas” bookstore sale has become the “six days of Christmas” sale.
Colleen Holland, director of the bookstore, who created the Christmas sale five years ago and thought it would be a fun way to draw people into the book store.
“It’s a way to take a piece of Crowder to the student’s family,” said Holland.
The sale will happen Nov. 28, 29, 30 and Dec. 5, 6, 7, which excludes Mondays and Fridays. An email will go out every day naming the item which will only be on sale for that day. The six days of Christmas will happen at all Crowder bookstore locations.
This is a list of the items which will be on sale.
- 28, is 25% off all Christmas décor.
- 29, if you purchase any Crowder home decor item, you get a free clock or trash can, while supplies last.
- 30, hoodies, sweatpants etc. are buy one get one 30% off.
- 5, t- shirts are; $5 buy any long sleeve t-shirts and get a free bandanna and assorted winter items starting at $5.
- 6, Crowder cups are 20% off ; buy a card for 5 free refills for cappuccinos and fountain drinks. If you spend $25 on cups and get a $5 gift card.
- 7, buy any hat and get a $5 gift card. Buy one get one 50% off on baby and kids items. If you buy a $25 gift card you get a $5 gift card free.
All sales made on the daily specials for the Six days of Christmas can enter in a drawing.
First place gets an Acer One 10 inch tablet, second place gets Crowder décor ($70 value) and third place gets a travel blanket. Also on Dec. 6 enjoy ½ off fountain drinks, coffee, cappuccino and gator ice.
“I really like the program. I hope they continue to have it because it’s cool,” student Nichole Foster said.
