The Vet Tech Program currently has a variety of dogs and cats available for adoption. The animals have all been vaccinated and have been spayed or neutered. You can see all the animals available for adoption at http://www.crowder.edu/academics/departments/agriculture/vet-tech/pet-adoption/

TRIO is hosting a Zumbathon charity event to help raise money for their program’s scholarships. The event will be held on Nov. 15 at the Neosho YMCA, where the doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and the event will begin at 9 a.m. The deadline to register is Nov. 10 and will cost $15 to participate.

This week in sports, the Lady ‘Riders basketball team will start its season play on Saturday, Nov. 1. The team will face Eastern Oklahoma at 2 p.m. in the Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Neosho campus, where all Crowder students, faculty and staff are free to attend the game.

The Lady Riders’ basketball team will also face Allen County on Wednesday, Nov. 5 for another home game, this time at 6 p.m. on the Neosho campus. Visit http://www.crowder.edu/athletics/basketball/schedule/ to see their full schedule for this season.
