Hitman’s Bodyguard features Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson

Hitman’s bodyguard was a well written movie. The actors made the character’s constant bickering into something hilariously put into theaters.

The comedy in the movie was what made it a good movie, and the point of the movie was not focused on the action, like one may think based on the title, but the comedy. The action portion of the movie could have been stepped up a little, but I think in the end the comedic feature made up for the lack of action.

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are the main actors in the movie.  The two actors play their roles very well and are extremely funny working together.

Reynolds, who plays Michael Bryce, is hired to be a bodyguard for Jackson, Darius Kincaid, who is a well-known hit-man. The irony in this is the two are bitter enemies, but Bryce must keep his clients alive no matter how corrupted they are.

When Kincaid’s beloved wife is put behind bars, he will stop at nothing to get her back, even if that means hiring one of his most hated enemies in order to stay alive, which is exactly what he does.

Hitman’s Bodyguard was released Aug. 18 and has a running time of 1 hour 58 min. This movie is rated R and has quite a bit of violence in it as well as strong language and sexual content.

I wouldn’t recommend the movie to anyone under 17 years old. A middle aged to young adult crowd may like this movie more than older people or younger children.

The release date for the movie on DVD and Blu-Ray is estimated to be in Nov. as well as the release date on Amazon Video and ITunes.
