Homecoming will be held Oct.31 at the Student Center on Halloween night.

SGA president, Vikas Yadav, describes that for homecoming in the past they have given away food and of course hosted the dance. He also explained how his favorite part of the experience was the free cookies.

“Campus Life is in charge of homecoming, and this year the event will be ‘Scared Back,”, said Mark Aubuchon, Campus Life Director. “The homecoming dance will be the Halloween dance and we may have another event around that time as well.”

Both Aubuchon and Yadav expressed the importance of homecoming. “As being an international student I have never joined or became involved in an activity like homecoming back home.” said Yadav. “Homecoming to me is an opportunity to help students get involved in the college experience and to get to know the tradition of the American college”, he continued. Yadav also expressed that he expects a big turnout

“Campus Life is in charge of homecoming, and this year the event will be scaled back, said Aubuchon “The homecoming dance will be the Halloween dance and we may have another event around that time as well.”

Aubuchon went on to explain how they treat homecoming as a bigger deal then how your average high school would. He continued to say how no matter the turnout homecoming is always fun and a great time.
