Professionals in Progress

The Crowder College Business Division formed a new professional student organization called Professionals in Progress (PIP) in the fall of 2015.

“All Crowder students have the opportunity to join PIP.” said Chris Fenske, Business faculty and PIP sponsor. The program also offers membership opportunities in organizations such as Phi Beta Lambda. As well as organizations in management and accounting such as IMA.

PIP is a come and go type program, meaning attendance is not required for any of the events. The membership is 30 to 40.

The program is designed to help students be hard working, professional, and prepared. The program also is a way of connecting with other with companies and students.

There is no cost involved with the program. All meetings will be held in the Fire Side meeting room in the Student Center. Food and beverages may be available during the meetings for PIP club.

The following dates are the meetings for PIP:

Nov 3 – Social Media and Use in Business (CMU Sponsoring)

Dec 1 – Management Issues (Local IMA Sponsoring)
