Zoey Vincent, General Studies major tells about the dos’ and don’ts for college

 

 

What are some of your duties as an R.A?

Pretty much to make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing. To make sure nobody’s violating any rules.

 

 

Why did you choose Crowder College?

It was a nice campus. And they offered a lot of majors. It also got you ready for actual college.

 

 

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in various places due to my father being in the military.

 

 

What are some of your hobbies?

I enjoy swimming, and watching TV, movies and Netflix.

 

 

 

What is something you look to achieve in life?

I want to get a degree in zoology.

 

 

What actor/actress would play you in a movie about your life and why would you choose that person?

Nina Dobrev because people say we look alike.

 

 

What fictional character do you relate most to and why?

Scooby-Doo because he’s not dopey but doesn’t pay attention. He’s kind of out there. And I like him.

 

 

If you could meet anyone in the universe, who would you want to meet and what would you do with them?

I would want to meet my grandma and I would just spend the day with her.

 

 

What advice do you have for the new freshmen?

Get out of your comfort zone. Go out and talk to people. Staying in your room is not a good way to have a good college experience. Go out to events.

 

 

If you could be born in any other period of time what would that be and why?

I would want to be born in the 20s because it was called the “Roaring 20s” and everyone was having fun. A lot of things also changed and were invented during that time.

 

 

Who is your hero and why?

My dad because he was in the Army for 22 years. He also makes sacrifices to spend time with us and make sure we have things.

 

 

What is your favorite movie and why?

I like Grease because I like the classic musical aspect of it.

 

 

 

 

 

What qualities do you think a good student has?

I think a good student has time management, holds themselves responsible, and is able to have fun while getting things done.

 

 

Who is your favorite superhero and why?

Captain America because he’s cool.

 

 

What is your favorite animal and why?

I like wolves because they’re very intelligent and are like dogs but can’t play with them.

 

 

What were you like in high school?

I was social. I was friends with everybody.

 

 

What was your favorite subject in school and why?

I liked zoology because I enjoy learning about different animals and their origins and such.

 

 

What are three things you love about Crowder?

I like that it’s a small campus which gives you the feel that you’re at college but at a smaller setting. Also everyone is very friendly. Lastly, it’s a great place to get started going to school without gaining too much debt.

 

 

What are three things you would change about Crowder?

I would let people be more aware about events. I would also have more events. I would lastly create more clubs available for people.

 

 

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I would want to fly because I could get places faster.
