Nestled amongst the quaint buildings of the Neosho square lies one of the area’s newest eateries.  114 Coffee shop, named for it’s location, 114 N. Wood Street, provides a free wi-fi, a vibrant atmosphere, and great value for college students.

Artsy Atmosphere

It features a cozy, art-filled seating area in front, with a larger room in back that has ample space for concerts, meetings, and other get togethers. With ambient lighting, courteous and friendly baristas, live music, and the constant buzz  of college students, 114 is instantly inviting and a great place to meet new people.

The venue has been host to several local bands, as well as community-wide open mic nights.

There’s a drive-thru perfect for that morning coffee fix on the way to work, as well as patio seating perfect for the warmer months.

Superior Selection

In terms of selection, 114 has something for just about everyone. They serve hot drinks as well as cold drinks in addition to quiches, sandwiches, and other light lunch fare, all made with local ingredients. During my visit, I had the opportunity to taste both the Italian Ice and the Vanilla Chai Tea and found them quite excellent.

Comparable Cost

The price point is quite similar to what you would find at a typical Starbucks, nothing that will break the bank for a poor college student.

The shops hours are:

Mon – Thu:
7:00 am – 8:00 pm
Fri – Sat:
7:00 am – 12:00 pm
Sun:
