Bookstore celebrates Valentine’s
During Feb. 1-14, there will be a 14% discount off any gear, food or merchandise that has red or pink on it. With each purchase, customers get a spin on the prize wheel and their name is put in for a grand prize. Prizes include $5 gift card and 20% off logo cup with 5 free refills.
Celebrate Mardi Gras

Renewable Energy Club hosts meetings
The Crowder College Renewable Energy Club will host meetings every Wednesday at 1 p.m. and every Friday at 2 p.m. Participants will meet in the MARET Center to discuss their involvement in a variety of renewable energy projects.

Campus Life hosts film series

Campus Life is hosting a film series dedicated to Black History Month with a showing every Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Fireside Room. There will be free candy, pizza, popcorn, and drinks provided. See Crowder’s home page for more details at crowder.edu.

Crowder PTK induction rescheduled

Crowder’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter held an orientation meeting for new and prospective members on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. Qualifying students received invitations the following week. The induction ceremony was rescheduled due to ice to be held on Sunday Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.

Student art exhibit open to public

The Crowder Student Art Exhibit is open on Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Longwell Museum in the Elsie Plaster Center. The exhibit will be open until Feb. 15.

Doors open for new play

The production of The Shape of Things will be held in the Elsie Plaster building March 1-3. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 1:30 p.m. for the Saturday matinee. Tickets are $4 with a presented Crowder ID, general admission is $8, seniors are $5 and children are $3.
