Club Rodeo, a dance club in Springfield that is open to anyone over 18 years old and is a great place to go dancing and have fun with friends. It is located at 2032 W Bennett Street by the James Ewing Sports Complex. There are pool tables and an open dance floor with a DJ that plays all kinds of country and rap music on Thursday–Saturday.

Entry is normally $6 for people over +21, $12 for women 18-21, and $15 for men 18-20. They host College Night on Friday night, where students can get in for half price and free for 21+ until 10:30 with your college ID, as well as Ladies’ Night on Thursday, where women get in for free.

However, Club Rodeo does have its bad side. There have been many fights that have broken out and caused a lot of controversies.

In the last couple of weeks, there has been a fight that has come up on Facebook. A woman and her husband went to Club Rodeo, and found her husband being beaten up in the parking lot by the security guards for unknown reasons.

The problem with this is that it isn’t the only time it has happened. The security guards are said to be very aggressive, and it has become a rough place to hang out.

Club Rodeo is a cool place to go hang out at if you are aware of the possibility of it getting rowdy. Being under the age of 21 does make the experience a little different. You can go to dance, play some pool and have a good time. They have virgin cocktails and Redbull for people who are underage.
