Joplin Spook Light- Hornet (near Quapaw) 

A ball or group of lights that appear in an area called the Devil’s Promenade.  

Peace Church Cemetery (Joplin) 

Locals claim to frequently see apparitions here, objects being thrown at visitors and scratches turning up on them sometimes as well.  

MSSU (Joplin) 

A ghostly Dark Lady who moves objects and creates cold spots occupies the school, Billingsly Student Center is also said to be haunted.  

Prosperity School Bed and Breakfast (Joplin) 

Reported sightings include ghost children, shadow figures as well as a nurse. Rooms are named after teachers from the old school, and guests have mentioned ghost children crawling into bed with them or different electrical disturbances.  

Grand Avenue Bed and Breakfast (Carthage) 

A male ghost is said to be resident here, the smell of cigarette smoke is said to fill the dining room and parlor when he is around.  

Kendrick Place (Carthage) 

Haunted by a slave woman who was hung from a tree during the civil war. 

Avilla 

In the old abandoned part of the town, shadow people are said to be seen walking around the streets. The Avilla Death Tree (of unknown location) is haunted by Rotten Johnny Reb who is seeking his head and vengeance upon those who live in the town. 

All Star Pizzeria (Noel) 

Former pizzeria where white apparitions have been seen standing at the windows, and when it was open workers reported various paranormal activities. 

Concord Cemetery (Wheaton) 

Orbs have been captured in photos as well as breathing noises appearing on audio recordings.  

John Walsh Mansion (Monett) 

Reported to have at least three ghosts: a man, a small child, and a middle aged woman. 

Peel Mansion (Bentonville) 

Said to be haunted by Peel and his daughter Minnie Belle who will often play the piano when no one is in the room. 

Station Cafe (Bentonville) 

Items move in the dining room as well as kitchen, and a figure of a man is often seen in the hallways.  

Radar Road Phantom (Rogers) 

A phantom horse and rider is said to be seen on the outskirts of the city. 

Pea Ridge National Military Park (Garfield) 

At night, the sounds of musket fire and apparitions of soldiers on the battlefield at night, visitors also get the feeling of being followed while there.  

Crescent Hotel (Eureka Springs) 

One of the most well-known haunted hotels in America. The building has a history that surely comes with ghosts and paranormal activities. The hotel stands as a main tourist attraction. 

Basin Park Hotel (Eureka Springs) 

Haunted tours offered there are a couple known ghosts, a young woman as well as a toddler aged girl. 

Inn at Carnival Hall (Fayetteville) 

Witnesses have seen apparitions of a headless and footless woman, and many other phenomena as well as reflections in photos.  

Tilly Willy Bridge (Fayetteville) 

It is said that a woman drove off the bridge killing herself and her children in the 1970s, her phantom car can be seen driving off the bridge as well as her own apparition twirling in a field and goblin creatures nearby.
