What is your major?

My major is journalism and my minor is political science, I’m interested in the political industry more than the news industry. I want to work with political communications.

What do you like most about college?

I really enjoy my schedule, I only go three days a week and I usually get out before 2 p.m. It isn’t exhausting like high school.

Who is your inspiration in today’s politics?

I’ve recently looked up to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She’s the representative for the 14th district of New York. She advocates the green new deal, a climate proposal. Her activism is also very inspiring.

Do you have any favorite philosophers?

Thomas Hobbes and Karl Marx are philosophers I’ve enjoyed studying. Hobbes wrote the social contract theory and  it was very influential for our government. Marx wrote Communist Manifesto, which is very influential for the socialist movement.

Do you have any celebrity idols?

I’ve always been inspired by David Dobrik. He’s someone I’ve watched on YouTube since YouTube has been out.

What is your favorite movie?

My current favorite movie is Spider-Man: Far From Home. I’m excited for the next movie coming out in December.

What is your favorite book?

My current favorite book is The Giver by Lois Lowry. My favorite type of genre in books is dystopian.

What interested you into politics?

I’ve always stood up for my beliefs and I think our government needs reform, so I would like to contribute to fix it.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

I always enjoy staying at home all day, doing nothing. Usually, I’ll go out with my friends. I also like to go eat out at a restaurant.
