General Studies major, Elsey Rafail, answers life questions.

Have there been any hardships in college so far?

Strangely enough, college was exactly what I had expected. The only hardship so far is keeping up with assignments. Also, waking up.

Can you detail anything that should later become advice for future you?

Always do your assignment ahead of time and keep a planner ready and written with anything needed.

What are your plans for after college?

Enjoy life and hopefully graduate with a job in line for myself.

Have you considered transferring aboard?

Yes however, I am ok with staying in the U.S. I have a challenging time adjusting to change so I try my best to just keep things as is.

College is hard, what do you think makes it hard?

Being on a time crunch, and just trying to get used to the new aspects of everything. Also, the grading system can cause some anxiety, making things harder.

What is your true honest input on the college system?

The system has its flaws, but I truthfully want a job a guaranteed job after that does not include factory work. I will not be happy with my job, but I know that getting paid substantial amounts is enough to make me dance.

What do you believe many should do for their own life?

Be happy! Many people do not live long, and even with a long life it is better to remember the moments that you were happy in the most.

What do you think has better your life?

My friends, they made adjusting to college easier. Seeing their faces and being able to talk about our shared difficulties makes the ten-minute drive to Crowder worthwhile.

What do you think has made your life harder?

Myself. As strange as an answer that is, I know that if I did not spend half my time worrying about most of the things in my life, I would enjoy it better and have it easier.

What are your enjoyments in life?

Friends, family, cake, and going outside with no homework to stop you. It is also the simple things; seeing someone smile, random dance breaks, horrible karaoke that makes you laugh, and just overall living life.
