Yes Day is a Netflix original film that came out on March 12, 2021. The hour and a half film is an incredibly good entertaining movie that made me laugh and made me want to go out to have fun with my family and friends. I highly recommend Yes Day if you want to have a movie night with your family.
The movie is directed by Miguel Arteta, and has some big actors like Jennifer Garner (as Allison Torres) and Nickelodeon star Jenna Ortega (as Katie Torres). Other main characters include Edgar Ramirez (as Carlos Torres), Julian Lerner (as Evan Torres), Everly Carganilla (as Ellie Torres), and Nat Faxon (as Mr. Deacon).
Do you have parents that say no to you and your siblings all the time? Imagine if one day your parents can never say no to you and you can do whatever you want to do. Although there are some rules to what they can say no to you.
The parents cannot show their fun side to their kids because they are busy showing their kids right and wrong. However, giving their kids a yes day is good for the kids and good for the parents. Showing the kids that their parents can be fun and entertaining is cool.
The Torres are a family with 3 kids and parents who like to say no a lot. The parents then hear of yes day from a teacher at the kid’s school. Although the kids must earn their yes day by getting good grades and doing all the chores in the house.
The kids had a blast making their parents do crazy and fun stuff from the time they wake up to bedtime. Making their parents dress like superheroes at breakfast to getting a bunch of people to play a made-up game with them.
Every kid’s dream is to have a yes day from their parents and you can see how it works. You could go to a theme park, go to a water park, play creative fun games outside, or even have ice cream for breakfast.
